ICTs are diverse! |
It can be hard to differentiate learning within our classroom. As you can imagine teaching for grades 2, 3 & 4 is definitely a challenge! I need to cater for all of our different needs within the classroom such as: hearing and visual impairments and learning difficulties. I also need to be aware of the curriculum obligations each student requires .
Being a diverse learning environment each student is able to reach their full potential, through an inclusive, and actively engaged approach. ICTs increasingly help cater for this diversity. Being able to use different approaches and programs for different students with just a click of a button makes it not only an easy, but an effective way to maximise learning. It also allows us to build individual students’ strengths and challenging their weakness, so that we can strive towards meeting those individual needs. These person-specific programs and technologies easily cater for your child's individuality and allow them to achieve in their own way. This environment also maintains enthusiasm within our classroom and helps prevent behavioural problems (which is always a plus!). ICTs are a fantastic and essential part of catering for diversity.
